National Worm Awareness Week, September 7th - 13th 2009

Worm Awareness Week 2009 takes place from the 7th - 13th September, and this year the emphasis is on the importance of worming with regards to preventing illness in both the pet and the child.

The Beaphar range of Sherley’s Wormers has everything a dog or cat owner would need to effectively worm their pet, and all at a reasonable price. For years pet owners have not wormed their dog or cat on the basis that their pet “has not got worms”. In fact, symptoms of worms are very rarely seen in adult dogs and cats, except for the occasional adult worm being found in faeces or vomit. That is why it is essential to have a regular worming regime for your dog and/or cat, it is the only way you can be sure that you are keeping on top of the problem. If you do not worm regularly, you may not just be causing your pet discomfort, but he may be passing worms on to other pets and even children.
